Job summary

ACEP Now is seeking a dedicated Physician for Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care in Springfield, MO. This role offers a competitive compensation package, including a $75,000 sign-on bonus and flexible scheduling options for full-time or part-time positions.

Physicians will provide high-quality care, working in a modern clinical environment with state-of-the-art facilities. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in urgent care or emergency medicine, along with top-notch communication skills and collaborative spirit.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds required.
• Must possess an active state medical license.
• 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience necessary, minimum 18 months in urgent care or emergency medicine.

Responsibilities

• Examining and treating patients with acute conditions.
• Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests.
• Making diagnoses and prescribing medications.
• Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations.

Skills

Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds

Active state medical license

2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience

Experience treating patients across all age groups

Proficiency in minor procedures (suturing, splinting)

Strong communication and listening skills

Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers
