LocumTenens.com is seeking a Physician Assistant for an urgent care assignment in Texas (Brookesmith area). The role runs ASAP through ongoing, with day shifts and on-site coverage, and no call duties.

Clinicians will manage a high-volume flow to deliver timely care. Candidates must be board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds, hold an active state license and DEA, have prescriptive authority, and at least 3 years in ER/urgent care.

About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians will provide urgent care services during day shifts at an on-site clinic, with shift lengths of 7, 8, 12, and 15 hours available across all 7 days of the week. Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds is required, along with an active state license, active state DEA, prescriptive authority, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Emergency Room or Urgent Care setting. Clinicians must be prepared to treat pediatric patients 3 months of age and older; Workers' Compensation experience is preferred and DOT certification is beneficial. This is a high-volume assignment with an expected patient throughput of 2-4 patients per hour; no call responsibilities are associated with this position.
