Akahi Associates/Kako'o Services, LLC is seeking a Physician Assistant for the Rapid Treatment Area at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidate will work full-time, providing comprehensive medical care, including diagnosing and treating various conditions, educating patients, and ensuring quality care in emergency situations.

The position requires a valid unrestricted PA license, NCCPA certification, and at least two years of experience in urgent or emergency care. Additional certifications such as ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are also required. Shifts will include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a PA in an Urgent Care Center or Emergency Department.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of Physician Assistant services.
• Diagnose, treat, and refer patients as necessary.
• Teach patients and families about health maintenance.
• Promote preventive care and health behaviors.
