Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to float between Danbury, Fairfield, Brookfield, Stamford and Norwalk centers in Connecticut. The NP should have 2+ years of urgent care or emergency medicine experience and be comfortable with minor procedures, reading EKGs and X-rays.

On-site support from Rad Techs and MAs is provided. Flex scheduling and a collaborative environment with Northwell Health partners are emphasized, with emphasis on autonomous practice while receiving

Qualifications

• NP with 2+ years in urgent care or emergency medicine, treating all ages from 6 months up.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (stitches, casts, splints) and interpreting basic imaging and ECGs.

Responsibilities

• Provide per diem urgent care coverage across multiple CT centers.
• Perform minor procedures and participate in patient management with supervision from GoHealth Urgent Care/Northwell physicians.
