Job summary

Carbon Health is seeking a Part Time Urgent Care Clinician (PA/NP) to join our national network. You will conduct assessments, order tests, and perform urgent care procedures in a fast-paced environment, with access to supervision when needed.

We offer a 2-shift minimum schedule, a compensation package including 401(k) match, weekend differential, productivity bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Medical/Master’s degree with a valid state license and national certification for PA.
• RN license, NP certification, and a valid state license for NP.
• Valid, unrestricted medical license and ability to treat all ages.
• DOT certification to be obtained prior to start; Carbon covers fees.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for urgent care conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostics, including x-rays, labs, and EKGs.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as laceration repair and I&D.
• Collaborate with peers and supervisors to ensure patient outcomes.
• Manage patient flow and triage in a fast-paced setting.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for a variety of urgent care conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, labs, and EKGs.
• Perform typical urgent care procedures, such as laceration repair, I&Ds, and splint applications.
• Collaborate with a network of peers and specialists to enhance patient outcomes. At Carbon Health, you’ll never truly work solo—you’ll always have immediate access to a supervisor or experienced colleague if you ever need support.
• Triage and manage patients efficiently to maintain a smooth clinic flow with generally 4-5 patients per hour.

About You

• Physician Assistant: Medical/Master’s degree with a valid state license and national certification.
• Nurse Practitioner: RN license, NP certification, and a valid state license.

Requirements:

• Valid, unrestricted medical license.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.
• DOT Certification: Must be obtained prior to your start date. Carbon will cover the course and exam fees and provide a roadmap and resources to help you succeed.
• BLS certification is required and must be obtained before your first day with Carbon Health.

Part Time Salary Range: $69,940 - $110,557 annually

Productivity Bonus: Up to an additional 14%

Part Time Salary (minimum 2 shifts per week):

$69,940 - $96,980 base (at 2 shifts per week)

$69,940 - $110,557 with productivity bonus (at 2 shifts per week)

Compensation offers include an hourly rate, a wRVU bonus plan, a weekend differential, and a balance of factors such as level of education, experience, work history, and geographic location. The Company complies with all state and local wage and hour laws.
