Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Physician to join Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care in St. Louis. The role offers flexible scheduling in a modern clinical environment, with a generous sign-on bonus and a full benefits package starting on day one.

Expect a collaborative, fast-paced setting with imaging, labs, and Epic EMR, plus support from radiologic technologists and experienced medical staff. Eligible for PSLF, relocation assistance may be available, and ongoing professional growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• Active state medical license.
• 2 years post-residency clinical experience, ideally in urgent care or emergency medicine.
• Experience treating patients across all age groups.
• Proficiency in minor procedures and reading EKGs/X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Examining and treating patients with acute conditions.
• Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests.
• Making diagnoses and prescribing medications.
• Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations.
• Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow-up care.
• Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support.
• Working 8- or 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced setting.

Skills

Board-certified in Family Medicine, EM

Active state medical license

2+ years post-residency

Urgent care/EM experience

EKG & X-ray interpretation
