Job summary

Riverside Medical Group's MD Express Urgent Care in southeastern Virginia offers full-time, part-time, and labor pool opportunities across five centers. Providers see patients of all ages in a fast-paced, collaborative setting with comprehensive benefits, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, and a strong focus on evidence-based care.

Open seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM across Williamsburg, Yorktown, Newport News, Hampton, and Gloucester, this role emphasizes broad-spectrum medicine

Qualifications

• MD or DO, Virginia licensure eligibility.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
• DEA registration (or eligible).
• Excellent communication and patient-centered clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality urgent care to patients of all ages.
• Evaluate and treat respiratory and viral illnesses, minor fractures, sprains and lacerations.
• Perform minor procedures and wound care; administer vaccinations and preventive services.
• Collaborate within a physician-led, team-based environment; support rapid patient assessment and throughput.

Practice Highlights

MD Express Urgent Care centers are open 7 days a week from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, providing convenient, high-quality care throughout southeastern Virginia.

Providers rotate among locations in:

• Williamsburg
• Yorktown
• Newport News
• Hampton
• Gloucester

You'll care for infants, children, adolescents, and adults while managing a broad range of urgent medical conditions, injuries, and minor procedures in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Clinical responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of:

• Respiratory and viral illnesses
• Minor fractures, sprains, and lacerations
• Sports and occupational injuries
• Minor procedures and wound care
• Physicals and occupational medicine
• Vaccinations and preventive services
• Foreign body removal and other common urgent care procedures

We're Looking For

The ideal physician enjoys practicing broad-spectrum medicine, works well in a fast-paced clinical setting, and values teamwork, patient service, and evidence-based care.

Hiring Range:

$151 – $189/hour
