Job summary

The Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, Inc. seeks an Urgent Care Physician Assistant to deliver same-day acute care at Kaiser Permanente Waipio Medical Office in Central Oahu.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited PA program with NCCPA and BLS certifications and at least 2 years of post-training experience in urgent care, emergency medicine or primary care. This is a full-time role with support from a fully integrated health system and EPIC EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA program.
• Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred.
• NCCPA and BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of post-training experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Primary Care.
• Recent experience caring for patients as young as 6 months.
• Must commit to a full-time schedule for a minimum of 6-months.

Responsibilities

• Provide same day acute care at Kaiser Permanente Waipio Medical Office in Central Oahu.
• Collaborate with specialists and staff within a fully integrated health system.
• Utilize AI documentation and EPIC EMR for patient care.

Education
