Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Montgomery, AL is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. You will provide patient-focused care across urgent and primary care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine, with on-site orientation and mentorship to help you ramp up quickly.

As a provider, you’ll treat patients of all ages, lead a small team, follow established protocols, and collaborate with physicians.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher degree required (new graduate friendly).
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain; company covers cost.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat common illnesses such as cold/flu, strep, and COVID.
• Perform minor procedures and suturing.
• Splinting and general orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review of X-rays (over-read by radiologist).
• General dermatology and eye care for patients of all ages.
• General EKG interpretations and emergency management.
• Provide general GYN care and treating children.
• Occupational medicine and telemedicine services.
