You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses, order tests, and implement treatment plans with supervising physicians. The role requires a Master's degree, PA-C, FL license, BLS/ACLS, and experience in urgent care or ER. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification (PA-C).
• Active Florida state PA license or ability to obtain licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred.
• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care approach.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries in urgent care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, X-rays, and imaging studies.
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Perform wound care, suturing, splinting, and injections.
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment and follow-up care.
• Document patient encounters and maintain medical records.
• Triage and manage patient flow to ensure efficient, high-quality care.
