Job summary

Medicus Urgent Care is seeking qualified Physician Assistants (PA-C) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) for a part-time role, requiring 6 to 8 shifts per month and at least one weekend.

Qualifications

• Current PA-C or NP certification.
• Proficiency in suturing, administering injections, and patient assessment.
• Experience with EHR systems and medical office operations.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive patient care, including physical and DOT exams, suturing, I&D, and wound care.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as x-rays and laboratory results.
• Managing patient communication, test result follow-ups, prescriptions, and specialist referrals.
• Maintaining accurate EMR documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Adhering to established clinical policies and objectives.
