Job summary

AssociatesMD in Pembroke Pines, FL, is seeking a Board-certified physician to join our Urgent Care and Occupational Health team. The role involves evaluating and treating patients in urgent care and occupational health settings, while promoting preventive care and patient education.

Ideal candidates hold an active Florida medical license, with board certification in Family, Internal, or Emergency Medicine preferred. DOT certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Occupational Health practices and general Medicine.
• Strong communication and customer service for patient-centered care.
• Experience in health promotion and preventive care initiatives.
• Active Florida medical license; board certification in Family/Internal/Emergency Medicine preferred.
• DOT Certification preferred.
• Experience with school and immigration physicals; comfortable with pediatric patients.
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in urgent care and occupational health settings.
• Perform medical evaluations and provide health promotion advice.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
