Job summary

DHR Health is seeking an RN Nurse Practitioner (NP) for PRN days in the Urgent Care clinic. The NP will assess, diagnose and manage patient care under physician supervision, with a focus on timely, evidence-based treatment and patient education.

Qualifications include Texas RN and NP licenses, BSN, MSN preferred, ACLS and PALS, and 2+ years of urgent care or ER experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus for this position.

Qualifications

• RN with Texas license and NP license.
• Two years’ NP experience in Urgent Care or ER preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certification required.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, evaluate and treat patients in Urgent Care under physician supervision.
• Perform history and physical assessments and document findings.
• Order and interpret diagnostics and communicate results.
• Prescribe treatments and provide patient education.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff to coordinate care.
