Carbon Health in Long Beach, CA is seeking an urgent care clinician (PA or NP) for part-time or full-time roles. You’ll deliver patient-centered urgent care, work within a collaborative team, and utilize CarbyOS to streamline documentation.

• BLS certification required before first day.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for urgent care conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including x-rays, labs, and EKGs.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as laceration repair, I&Ds, and splint applications.
• Collaborate with peers and specialists to improve patient outcomes; access supervisor when needed.
• Triage and manage patients to maintain clinic flow (4–5 per hour).

Your Role

As an essential member of our clinical team, you’ll provide exceptional, patient-centered care while being part of a high-performing team committed to excellence.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for a variety of urgent care conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, labs, and EKGs.
• Perform typical urgent care procedures, such as laceration repair, I&Ds, and splint applications.
• Collaborate with a network of peers and specialists to enhance patient outcomes. At Carbon Health, you’ll never truly work solo—you’ll always have immediate access to a supervisor or experienced colleague if you ever need support.
• Triage and manage patients efficiently to maintain a smooth clinic flow with generally 4-5 patients per hour.
• 401(k) Match: Eligible for a 2% employer match to support your financial goals
• Weekend & Holiday Differential: Earn a 6.1% bonus on top of your base hourly rate for working weekends and company designated holidays
• Productivity Bonuses: Earn up to 28% of your base salary in additional incentives

Salary: $96,330 - $123,302 Anually

Productivity Bonus: Up to an additional 28%

Full Time Salary (minimum 3 shifts per week):

• $96,330 - $102,694 base (at 3 shifts per week)
• $96,330 - $123,302 with productivity bonus (at 3 shifts per week)

Compensation offers include an hourly rate, wRVU bonus plan, weekend differential and a balance of factors such as level of education, experience, work history, and geographic location.
