Job summary

Glendive Medical Center in Glendive, MT seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Urgent Care team. This provider will deliver high-quality care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries while collaborating with the hospitalist physician to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited NP or PA program, Montana licensure or eligibility, national certification, and ongoing continuing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Montana licensure (or eligible for licensure).
• National certification and state accreditation required.
• Ongoing continuing education and maintenance of licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages.
• Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, x-rays, EKGs).
• Perform procedures within scope of practice and privileges.
• Prescribe medications per Montana regulations and policies.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and follow-up care.
• Consult with supervising physicians as needed to ensure quality care.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient documentation.
• Maintain required certifications for urgent and emergency care.
