Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a locum tenens assignment in Colorado. Start ASAP with 40-hour weeks and weekend shifts, performing urgent care procedures such as suturing, incisions, drainage, and splinting in an outpatient setting.

Credentialing in 45–60 days is expected. EPIC/Health Connect EMR is used, and certifications ACLS, PALS, and BLS are required, with an active Colorado license to practice.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado license
• ACLs, PALS and BLS certifications required
• ER experience required
• 40 hour weeks with weekend work

Responsibilities

• Urgent care procedures including suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, toenail removal

This facility is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP)for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 40 hour weeks with varying shift lengths. Must be able to work weekends.
• Practice Setting: Outpatient
• Type of cases: suturing, incision, drainage, splinting, toenail removal, bread and butter urgent care. Emergency Room experience required.
• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 Days
• Electronic Medical Record(EMR): EPIC/Health Connect
• Certifications required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Active Colorado License
