Job summary

JAX Jackson General Hospital in Ravenswood, WV seeks an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner to provide direct medical management for assigned shifts and patient populations within their scope.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnoses, treatment planning, prescriptions, immunizations, and coordination with collaborating physician.

Requires WV RN and ANP licenses, Master’s in Nursing (Emergency or Family Practice), and current ACLS/PALS/BLS/ATLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Requires WV RN license and Advanced Practice Nurse licensure in WV.
• Master’s degree in Nursing with emergency or family practice specialization.
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and ATLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Renders health care services as an advanced practice nurse within education and experience.
• Assess patients, obtain histories, perform exams, diagnose, plan treatment, and prescribe medications
• Order/interpret labs, imaging, and other data.
• Perform injections, immunizations, sutures, biopsies, and electrocautery as trained.
• Provide patient counseling and refer to other resources or specialists as needed.
