Job summary

MyMichigan Urgent Care Alpena is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a casual, fast-paced setting. Coverage hours run 8 a.m.–8 p.m., Monday through Friday, with 8 a.m.–4 p.m. on weekends.

The center features onsite x-ray and EPIC EMR, supported by an experienced care team. Urgent Care experience is preferred but not required; DOT certification is preferred, with on-the-job training available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active State of Michigan license and CSL or eligible to apply.
• AHA approved BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care and occupational health screenings, physicals, and work-related injuries.
• Treat patients of all ages in a fast-paced clinic environment.
