Job summary

University Hospitals Urgent Care in Cleveland, OH is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team. This role emphasizes delivering high-quality medical care to adults and children in a fast-paced setting, with collaboration among center physicians.

The position offers a structured schedule with no overnights, a competitive compensation package with bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and licensed in Ohio
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program
• Current DEA registration
• Must be DOT certified
• Experience with suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including X-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (we will provide this if needed)
• Meets eligibility for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high quality medical care with appropriate resource management for adults and children in cooperation with center physicians
• Adhere to service and courtesy standards to deliver high patient satisfaction
• Provide care per policies and procedures and maintain complete medical records
• Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff
• Document services accurately and facilitate reimbursement
• Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations
• Engage in professional development and maintain certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.) as required
• Report to Regional Medical Director and/or Area Clinical Operations Director
