Job summary

Carbon Health in Folsom, CA is hiring Urgent Care Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for part-time or full-time clinician roles. You’ll deliver patient-centered urgent care with support from CarbyOS and a nationwide network of clinicians.

You’ll perform exams, order tests, and treat diverse urgent care conditions while benefiting from a comprehensive rewards package including health, PTO, and 401(k), plus attractive bonuses and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid, unrestricted medical license.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.
• DOT Certification must be obtained prior to start date.
• BLS certification required before your first day.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for urgent care conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, labs, and EKGs.
• Perform laceration repair, I&Ds, and splint applications.
• Collaborate with a network of peers and specialists to improve patient outcomes.
• Triage patients to maintain a smooth clinic flow (4–5 patients per hour).
