Job summary

A leading healthcare system in a coastal South Carolina region is seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a fast-paced, patient-focused team.

This full-time opportunity offers a Monday–Sunday schedule from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., with no on-call duties and strong physician support. The service line is growing, with potential for expanded hours and a modern, well-supported urgent care environment featuring on-site lab and imaging.

Qualifications

• Experience in urgent care settings is required or strongly preferred.
• Ability to work Monday–Sunday, 8a–7p with no call responsibilities.
• Proven collaboration with APPs, nursing staff, and clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage acute conditions such as URIs, influenza, COVID, strep, and ear infections.
• Perform common urgent care procedures including laceration repair and wound care.
• Provide occupational health visits and sports physicals as needed.
• Utilize Cerner EMR and Dragon dictation for documentation with support from ambient AI tools.
