BestMed is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care and occupational medicine team in Gillette, Wyoming. You will practice in a well-established network focused on patient-centered care and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on an outpatient basis in an urgent care setting
• Deliver care, treatment and referrals as needed
• Coordinate referrals for specialties not provided onsite
• Perform physical examinations to establish diagnoses and treatment plans
• Conduct clinical procedures within scope and capability
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment goals to patients
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR with proper coding
• Possibly provide occupational and telemedicine care
• Handle non-patient-facing duties including lab and x-ray review
• Take on additional duties as assigned by Medical Director
