Baptist Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider in New Albany, IN, reporting to the Baptist Health Medical Group. The APP will work autonomously within a physician-led team to deliver high-quality care, guided by state laws and medical staff privileges.

The role emphasizes clinical reasoning, research-based practice, and collaboration across specialties to optimize patient outcomes and cost-effective care delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and accredited APP program completed.
• National certification from the appropriate certifying agency.
• Current valid and unrestricted license to practice as an APP (Kentucky).
• BCLS (American Heart Association) required.
• ACLS as required for position.

Responsibilities

• APP functions autonomously and collaborates with health professionals to provide high quality, cost effective care.
• Provides direct patient care as part of the physician-led team under state law and privileges.
• Engages in clinical reasoning, research and theory-based practice to influence care decisions.
