Job summary

HealthPoint's Kent Urgent Care seeks a qualified Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive primary care in an urgent care setting. You will operate with autonomy and in collaboration with HealthPoint providers to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include triage, referrals, patient education, and meticulous documentation; immunizations and preventive care are part of daily duties. A WA NP license and board certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
• Washington State nurse practitioner license. Board certification required.
• Demonstrated operating knowledge of computers: Word, Outlook and required software; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care in an urgent care clinic.
• Assess patient needs for referrals and diagnostics and make appropriate referrals.
• Counsel patients and families on health maintenance and follow-up.
• Complete accurate documentation in patient records and superbills.
• Participate in patient triage and shared call systems.
