NPHire seeks an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality outpatient care in Washington, DC. Start date November 2026 with an anticipated 30–60 day credentialing window and about 8 weeks of coverage. The role features 12-hour day shifts, with some 10-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week and ongoing weeklong coverage.

Expect ~47–50 patient contacts daily, using Cerner EMR, with collaboration across physicians and staff to provide patient-centered care.

Formación

• 1+ year NP experience in urgent care, emergency medicine or acute care.
• Active NP license in Washington, DC and DEA registration.
• AHA life-support certifications; ACLS required unless EM board certified.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with common urgent care conditions.
• Provide outpatient care across a broad age range with focused histories and exams.
• Order/interpret labs and imaging; perform minor procedures; educate and follow up.
• Document encounters in Cerner EMR; collaborate with care team.
