Job summary

Providence Medical Group Northwest Washington in Monroe, WA is seeking a Medical Assistant II to work under a licensed practitioner and assist in patient care for assigned patients. The MA II demonstrates competency across the MA I scope and follows established policies and procedures.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited program or MA apprenticeship, or military medical training, plus Washington Medical Assistant Certification on hire and BLS within 30 days; at least 6 months

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on clinical MA training.
• Graduate of an MA apprenticeship program.
• Has completed two years of medical training in the US Armed Forces.
• Minimum one year of MA work experience with vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification.
• Within 30 days of hire: BLS - American Heart Association.
• 6 months healthcare experience.
• 6 months MA experience.

Responsibilities
