Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or licensed/certified as an LPN/EMT.

• Current BLS certification required.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to float between Austell, Smyrna, and Mableton clinics.
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Word and Excel).
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a welcoming front desk experience.
• Assist with patient registration, check-in/check-out, and appointment scheduling.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation.
• Collect copayments and assist with basic billing responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
• Answer incoming calls and coordinate communication between patients and staff.
• Assist with managing patient flow to support efficient clinic operations.
• Support medical providers and clinical staff as needed within scope.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Follow HIPAA, safety, infection control, and QA standards.
