Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Urgent Care Grove City site. The role combines front and back office duties under physician supervision, with responsibilities aligned to the Ohio Administrative Code.

Shift schedule includes 8:45a–9:15p, three assigned shifts per week, with emphasis on efficient patient flow and accurate EMR documentation. Expect clinical and administrative tasks, readiness to learn, and collaboration with the health care team to ensure quality patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with EMR documentation and patient flow is desirable.
• Knowledge of Ohio Administrative Code related to medical assisting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates efficient patient flow and prepares patients for visits.
• Performs EMR documentation and administrative duties.
• Assists physicians with patient care as directed.
• Maintains clean and stocked clinical environment.
