Piedmont Urgent Care by Wellstreet in Braselton, GA is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced clinical team. You will prepare patients, perform triage, document histories in the EMR, and assist with lab specimens and injections to support smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience (urgent care or ER a plus).
• Proficiency in venipuncture, injections, and clinical procedures.
• Experience with EMR software; EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, ensuring comfort.
• Take vital signs and perform triage.
• Document patient history in EMR.
• Collect routine lab specimens (blood, urine, oral swabs).
• Administer medications and injections (IM, subcutaneous, intradermal).
• Start IVs and place catheters as needed.
• Support occupational medicine services and regulatory compliance.
• Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required.
