Job summary

Nemours Children's Health seeks a Medical Assistant for our Urgent Care department. The MA coordinates patient flow, assists with data collection for intake, and ensures essential information reaches the provider to support care delivery.

Responsibilities include entering history into the medical record, assisting with clinical procedures, and acting as a liaison among patients, families and the care team per protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program or MA certification is required.
• BLS through AHA within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and assist with clinical data collection for intake.
• Enter pertinent history in the medical record and support provider with procedures.
• Serve as liaison between patient/family, provider, and care team.
