Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; MA certifications preferred or must obtain within 12 months.
• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience in hospital, primary care, ED or urgent care.
• Certification options include CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, ARMA; alternatively Nursing/EMT/Paramedic credential.

Aufgaben

• Register patients, collect insurance information and verify eligibility.
• Process co-pays and schedule appointments for centers.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and assist providers during visits.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist with testing and labs.
• Maintain exam rooms and inventory; ensure chart accuracy.
