Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Residency completed in Internal Medicine (ACGME-accredited).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible with plans to sit for exams in Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Acute Patient Care: diagnose and treat a wide range of acute medical conditions.
• Chronic Disease Exacerbations: manage acute presentations of chronic diseases and stabilize patients for follow-up or transfer.
• Minor Procedures: perform urgent care procedures (laceration repair, abscess I&D, splinting, foreign body removal, basic eye exams).
• Diagnostic Interpretation: interpret point-of-care labs, ECGs, and X-ray results.
• Patient Disposition & Safety: triage and determine disposition, transfer when needed.
• Collaborative Leadership: lead a multidisciplinary clinic team.
• Documentation: maintain accurate EHR documentation per standards.
