Job summary

Essentia Health in Moorhead area is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant to support our Urgent Care Clinics. This PRN role offers flexible day/evening shifts in ambulatory care with licensure requirements across MN/ND.

Typical duties include assisting RN/physician with patient care and performing procedures within competency. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• LPN licensed in MN within 3 months of hire.
• CMA registration/certification or CMA program completion with certification within 1 year of hire.
• MAIII registration with ND Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN, physician and other providers in ambulatory care delivering direct patient care.
• Perform identified procedures aligned with demonstrated competencies.
• Care for patients from newborn to elderly per defined age categories.
