Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Location: Lebanon, IN 46052
Pay Rate: $37.17 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate has experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency room environments and is comfortable performing clinical procedures, administering medications and vaccines, and documenting patient care in an electronic medical record system. This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working directly with patients in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications as appropriate.
• Administer vaccines and perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing.
• Monitor patient conditions, identify abnormalities, and document treatment responses.
• Review medications and identify potential side effects or drug interactions.
• Document patient histories, medications, allergies, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record.
• Conduct screenings, including depression and mental health assessments.
• Educate patients on medication administration, self-care, and disease management.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals and connect patients with appropriate community resources.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic.

Required Qualifications

Important: Candidates whose experience is limited primarily to long-term care, nursing homes, home health, long-term acute care (LTAC), or skilled nursing facilities are not a fit for this position.

Schedule

Schedule Three weeks of initial training and orientation. Following training, schedules are created in six-week blocks. Shifts typically range from 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours. The typical schedule includes two or three weekdays and every other weekend. Some major holiday shifts are required. Candidates must be available to complete the initial three-week training period.
