Job summary

A Plus Urgent Care is seeking a Full-Time Limited Scope X-ray Tech/Medical Assistant for our Lake Elsinore location. You’ll perform x-ray procedures, assist physicians, and support patient flow in a busy clinic within the Southwest Healthcare system.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, venipuncture, EMR documentation, and room preparation. Requires MA certificate, BLS/CPR, and limited rad tech certification. Schedule includes weekends; training provided.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Medical Assistant Certificate and one year experience.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Experience with patient check-in and check-out.
General medical office procedures.
End of day cash balancing and charge reconciliation knowledge.

Responsibilities

Performs all required x-ray procedures with basic/limited scope reporting.
Complete patient information forms prior to physician visit; assist physician with chart.
Assist in examination and treatment under physician direction.
Interview patients, measures vitals, venipuncture as directed.
Record documentation in EMR per IPM guidelines.
Prepares treatment rooms for examinations.
Attend mandatory meetings.
Schedule: Mon-Tue, Thu-Fri 10:00-6:30; Sun 9:00-5:00; schedule may change.
