Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care in Springfield, TN is seeking caring Family Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to deliver high-quality medical care to patients of all ages with acute and chronic conditions. The role involves working collaboratively with a health care team, diagnosing and treating patients, and educating them while maintaining top standards of care.

Full-time schedules include rotating 36–40 hour weeks with weekend coverage; PRN options may apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active APRN or PA license in state
• Current FNP or PA-C board certification
• Current DEA license or eligibility to obtain upon hire
• Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary patient service to patients, visitors and coworkers
• Diagnose, treat and educate patients across ages for acute and chronic conditions
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure high standard of care and patient satisfaction
• Perform medical assessments and procedures as appropriate in urgent care settings
• Support on-site labs, x-rays, injections and specimen collections as needed
• Assist with policy development and participation in continuing education programs
