Lowcountry Urgent Care is hiring a full‑time Family Nurse Practitioner for our Walterboro clinic. Walterboro is the county seat of Colleton County in the South Carolina Lowcountry, about 50 miles west of Charleston just off I-95. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and episodic conditions.

Perform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals. Order and interpret in‑house labs and imaging.

Qualificações

• FNP-C licensed in South Carolina.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• DOT Medical Examiner certification, or willingness to complete within 6 weeks (training provided).
• 1+ year of urgent care, emergency, or primary care experience preferred.

About the Role

Lowcountry Urgent Care is hiring a full‑time Family Nurse Practitioner for our Walterboro clinic. Walterboro is the county seat of Colleton County in the South Carolina Lowcountry, about 50 miles west of Charleston just off I-95.

At a Glance

• Pay: $55-$90/hour based on experience, qualifications, and clinical assessment, time-and-a-half after 40 hours
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, so 4 days off every week
• Average of 3-4 patients per hour

What You'll Do

Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and episodic conditions. Perform common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, wound care, and DOT physicals. Order and interpret in‑house labs and imaging. Prescribe, educate patients, and chart in Experity EMR.

How You'll Practice

You are the provider on‑site and make your own clinical decisions, backed by established protocols, a dedicated clinic team, and clinical leadership when you need them. Onboarding includes a structured clinical orientation. Schedules are published in advance through a self‑scheduling app, and extra shifts are easy to pick up.

Compensation

$55-$90/hour based on experience, qualifications, and clinical assessment. Productivity incentives are available above base pay. Sign‑on bonuses are offered on a case‑by‑case basis, based on experience and start date. Relocation assistance may also be available.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS
