Job summary

MD Now Urgent Care is seeking a board-certified full-time physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our Sarasota/Manatee County Market, providing coverage out of Estero and surrounding clinic locations.

Ideal candidates are comfortable treating patients from 3 months of age, able to perform first reads on x-rays, and skilled in pediatric and adult care with procedures such as I&Ds and suturing. Flexible outpatient schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner with Florida licensure or eligibility.
• Comfortable seeing patients aged 3 months and up.
• Ability to perform first reads on x-rays.
• Skills for acute illnesses/injuries including I&Ds and suturing.
• Float coverage across Estero and surrounding clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care coverage as a float clinician in Estero and nearby clinics.
• Deliver high-quality outpatient care for pediatric and adult patients.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and coordinate care with supervising physicians.

• Ability to perform first reads on x-rays
• Skills to perform patient treatment procedures for most acute illnesses or injuries to include: pediatric -and adult care; I&Ds; suturing, etc.
