Sentara Urgent Care St. Luke's in Carrollton, VA is hiring a Full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). The role includes patient care and administrative duties in a fast-paced clinic, with daily clinic hours from 8:00 a.m.

to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, plus weekend coverage as needed. Qualified candidates hold CMA/RMA/CCMA or EMT Basic certification, with BLS within 90 days and 1 year of clinical/administrative experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CMA/RMA/CCMA/EMT Basic certs required or within 90 days of hire
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• 1 year clinical/administrative experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care tasks and procedures in an urgent care setting
• Perform administrative duties as appropriate
• Maintain safety for patients, visitors, and staff
• Support department and system policies and practices to ensure efficient operations
