Job summary

SSM Health Southern Illinois Medical Group in Mount Vernon and Centralia, IL is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for part-time urgent care coverage. The role involves on-site x-ray and labs, self-scheduling, and hands-on procedures with strong support staff.

Qualifications

• PA graduateship from a nationally accredited program.
• Two years of PA experience in urgent care, occupational or primary care.
• Current IL PA licensure.
• Available to work at least one shift per month with weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Staff Urgent Care with on-site x-ray and labs.
• Self-schedule with other APPs.
• Perform in-office procedures: sutures, staple removal, wound care, fracture support.
• Collaborate with strong support staff including triage.
• Overtime eligible; compensation based on experience.
