Job summary

Hugh Chatham Health Family Medicine and Express Care—Urgent Care in Dobson, NC—seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for full-time, 36 hours/week. Clinic operates 7 days a week, 7am–7pm; schedule equals three 12-hour shifts weekly, with no on-call requirement.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Master's Program.

Responsibilities

• Using medical decision-making to determine patient care plans.
• Collaborates with medical team for team-based care.
• Order and interpret lab studies and diagnostic procedures; explain procedures to patients.
• Procedural skills per department guidelines.
• Opportunity to participate in basic science and clinical research projects.
• Precept students/medical learners when possible.
