Job summary

MD Now Urgent Care in Florida is seeking a board-certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our Tampa (Pinellas) market, providing float coverage from Largo and surrounding clinics.

The role involves seeing patients from 3 months of age, performing first reads on x-rays, and delivering urgent care for a range of acute illnesses and injuries with procedures such as I&D and suturing. Flexible hours and outpatient-only work support a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Eligible for board certification and able to practice in Florida.
• Comfortable seeing ages 3 months and up.
• Competent in first reads on x-ray images.
• Skills to treat acute illnesses or injuries, pediatric and adult care including I&D and suturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide float urgent care coverage across Largo and nearby clinics.
• Perform urgent care procedures and trauma work as needed.
• Document care in medical records and coordinate with supervising physicians.
