Qualifications

• State licensed Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) with national certification preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA or Red Cross; CPR/ACLS not accepted).
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient interaction with clear explanations of conditions, medications, and treatment plans.
• Perform triage, vital signs, medical histories, and assist with minor procedures.
• Administer medications under supervision following state regulations.
• Document patient information in EHRs with confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Collaborate with clinical team to coordinate discharge planning and patient care.
