Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high-quality care at OSF OnCall Urgent Care. The role requires maintaining medical records, ensuring service quality, and supporting cost-efficient operations while delivering a patient-centered experience. May float between clinics as needed.

Experience preferred but new graduates considered; 12-hour shifts, 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or physician assistant track.
• IL Advanced Practice Nurse or IL Physician Assistant, BLS licensure.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; solid computer skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for: providing high quality patient care to the patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care. Maintaining the consistency and quality of all services provided. Maintaining full and current patient medical records, including reports of all examinations, procedures, and other services performed by the provider or other support staff. Exercising diligence in assisting the OSF CEO in keeping costs of the practice to a minimum while maintaining a high level of quality care for patients. Providing a truly personalized, patient-centric experience to all patients of OSF OnCall Urgent Care. This position requires floating to various facilities. Experienced is preferred, but new graduate advanced practice providers will be considered.

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $60.39-73.68
  • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Master’s degree

Licensure/ Certification: IL Advanced Prac Nurse or IL Physician Assistant, BLS

Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Experience as an APN or PA
