Job summary

ALTA Language Services, Inc. is seeking a professional interpreter to support training students in developing their interpretation skills. This role involves providing telephonic and/or video-remote coaching, maintaining excellent communication, and adhering to the ALTA curriculum. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience and relevant certifications. The position is available as full-time or part-time, with an hourly pay ranging from $30 to $40 based on qualifications and experience. Remote work is an option.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional interpretation experience after completing a 40-hour medical interpreter training course.
• Experience as both a contracted and staff interpreter for a total minimum of 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic and/or video-remote coaching services.
• Complete feedback reports promptly.
• Maintain excellent and punctual communication at all times.
• Adhere to the ALTA curriculum and teaching method.
• Participate in consistent trainings with ALTA to learn updated materials and processes.
• Provide superior customer service to students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
