Accurate Communication, Inc. is seeking an Urdu Interpreter to support social services clients. The role involves consecutive interpretation between English and Urdu and working in settings serving LEP individuals.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years interpreting experience, strong bilingual reading/writing, and listening skills. This is a contract, part-time, freelance position.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as interpreter for People with Limited English Proficiency for different social services settings
• Provide consecutive interpretation between English and Urdu.
• Listen to complete statements in one language, translate to second, and translate responses from second into first language.
• Express either approximate or exact translation, depending on nature of occasion.

Minimum Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience Interpreting settings
