Saint Martin de Porres High School in Cleveland is seeking a dynamic High School Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract, exempt position will deliver statistics and pre-calculus within a college-prep and career-readiness framework.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s with relevant experience, and Ohio licensure is preferred. A collaborative, mission-driven approach aligned with the Cristo Rey Network is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree preferred; however, a Bachelor's degree with appropriate experience will also be considered.
• Ohio Licensure Preferred: Mathematics and Integrated Mathematics (9-12)
• 3+ teaching years in an urban environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaches both statistics & pre-calc with a willingness to accept another assignment as needed.
• Embrace the Saint Martin Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles as well as the Cristo Rey Network Standards of Mission Effectiveness.
• Value a student-centered approach to education.
• Engage with professional learning teams that promote collaboration, peer review, and multidisciplinary lesson planning.
• Develop lesson plans in accordance with the school's innovative curriculum.
• Turn in lesson plans weekly and unit plans quarterly.
• Coordinate field trips for curricular and extracurricular activities.
• Communicate with parents/guardians.
• Participate in Corporate Work Study Program & Admissions events as assigned.
