Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Urban Forestry, Landscape Architecture, Resource Management, Arboriculture, Horticulture, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience managing urban forestry projects or programs.
• Must possess a valid Class D Arizona Driver’s License by hire date and obtain ISA certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage services, projects, initiatives, and activities for Mesa's urban forest program.
• Coordinate with City departments, regional agencies, partners, and the public.
• Prepare reports, forecasts, budgets, and grant applications; monitor expenditures and performance.
