Mobile Civil Service seeks a competent Urban Forestry Coordinator to plan and enforce the city’s forestry functions, both administratively and in the field. Arborist certification from the International Society of Arboriculture must be obtained within the first year of employment.
This is responsible administrative and field work in planning, organizing and enforcing the forestry functions of the City of Mobile.

Yearly Salary: $49,379
Attainment of a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in forestry or a closely related field and preferably one year experience in urban forestry; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
Must obtain Arborist certification by the International Society of Arboriculture within the first year of employment.
