Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Economics expected by the date of the appointment.
• Demonstrated record of effective teaching.
• Demonstration of research potential and an established agenda for future research.
• Awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of a socially and economically diverse student population.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop curriculum for undergraduate and graduate economics courses.
• Advise and mentor both undergraduate and graduate students.
• Maintain an active research agenda and publish in peer‑reviewed venues.
• Engage in governance through department, college, and university committees.
